Desi Chemical free Jaggery/Gud

🌿 Sourced from Kolhapur — India’s largest and most respected jaggery producing region. The sugarcane there has a reputation that goes back generations. We didn’t pick Kolhapur for the label. We picked it because the quality is simply better.

🌾 Most commercial jaggery uses sodium hydrosulphite to get that clean golden colour. Ours doesn’t. Natural jaggery is darker, sometimes uneven in colour. That’s not a defect — that’s how you know nothing was done to it.

🌱 Each batch is checked before it reaches our shelf. Chemical jaggery exists in Kolhapur too — we specifically source from makers who don’t use it. Not every supplier passes.

🍯 Sweeter than sugar by volume, so you use less. Retains the minerals that refining removes — iron, potassium, magnesium. Not a medicine. Just a less stripped sweetener.

🌞 Dissolves in chai, works in ladoos, balances spice in curries. The flavour has depth that white sugar simply doesn’t — slightly earthy, slightly smoky, unmistakably desi.

🌿 Dark colour. Rough edges. Smells like sugarcane still. If your jaggery looks perfect and uniform, ask questions.
